Frequently Asked Questions
Last updated: August 8, 2026
Is RupeeX processing real money right now?+
Not yet. Online payment collection is being connected to a new payment partner, and the final leg — converting funds and paying the invoice's recipient out via Raast — is currently simulated while we finish the banking/liquidity partnerships it depends on. See the Disclaimer for the exact breakdown.
What does RupeeX cost?+
Pricing coming soon. We're still finalizing RupeeX's commercial model and don't want to publish numbers before they're confirmed. Any fee shown at checkout today is provisional, not a final price.
How fast does a payment settle?+
Card and crypto payments settle instantly. ACH bank debits typically clear in 3-5 business days, since that's how long the underlying banking rail takes to confirm the debit — this isn't a RupeeX delay.
What happens if a client disputes a payment after I've already been paid?+
See the Refund & Dispute Policy — this is a real risk with card and bank payments generally, and we explain exactly how it's handled.
Which banks are supported for payout?+
Major nationally-operating scheduled commercial banks in Pakistan per the State Bank of Pakistan's list — the dropdown on the invoice form shows the current list.
Do I need a crypto wallet to use RupeeX?+
No. A non-custodial wallet is created for you automatically and invisibly when you sign in with Google — you never see a seed phrase or manage keys yourself.
Can my client pay in a currency other than USD?+
Not yet — invoices are USD-denominated today. Support for other currencies is a possible future addition, not currently built.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?+
See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's collected and which providers (our payment partner, Privy, our database and hosting providers) it's shared with.
