The version of RupeeX you are using is under active development. Some parts of the payment flow are real, and some are intentionally simulated while we finish building toward a production launch:

• Real: Google sign-in and embedded wallet creation (via Privy), invoice creation and storage, the live USD/PKR interbank rate feed, and identity verification.
• Simulated: the conversion of client funds into USDC, the institutional USD/PKR liquidity trade, and the final Raast payout into a Pakistani bank account. These steps are currently logged and simulated on our backend rather than executed against real liquidity or banking rails.

In practical terms: online payment collection is being connected to a new payment partner, and no payment through RupeeX results in a real PKR transfer to a user's bank account yet. We are not accepting production invoices or live client payments until that changes — and until user identity/bank verification (KYC/KYB, see the Terms of Service) is in place, since that verification is a required part of moving real money, not an optional add-on.

RupeeX is a software product that automates invoicing and payment coordination. It is not itself a bank, electronic money institution, or money transmitter. Where the product references settlement via licensed partner EMIs or SBP-aligned processes, those are the intended architecture once those partnerships are formally in place — not a claim that RupeeX independently holds any such license today.

Exchange rates, fees, and settlement times described on this site are illustrative of the intended product and can change. Live data (such as the interbank FX rate) depends on third-party providers and can fall back to a static estimate if those providers are unavailable.
